Body tempering is a technique that accelerates performance by combatting soft tissue restrictions and adhesions in muscles and fascia. A heavy steel cylinder (22-200 pounds) is placed over a tight or injured region of the body and rolled up and down –like a rolling pin—to break up muscle adhesions and trigger points. Body tempering can also be done using a static method by finding trigger points or larger adhesions and pressing for a certain time which will help release the trigger points. A great combination is static then followed up rolling the adhesions out helping to flush the toxins out of the tissues. Body Tempering speeds recovery from workouts or everyday wear and tear. Body Tempering is also very successful and helpful in preventive care.
Who needs Body Tempering? Pretty much every body needs it to stay healthy, mobile, and pliable. From everyday clients to weekend athletic activities to professional athletes.
